"Gokaku", a Japanese homonym meaning both "success" and "pentagram". A play of words, as well as a play of contrasts, the Gokaku earrings are a result of both void and solidity.
The disrupted Gokaku earrings are a part of the J+M_2 collection of statement jewelry, inspired by traditional Japanese "Wagara" textile patterns. Designs largely inspired by nature and calligraphy originating from the 8th century Heian period.
Striving towards pushing boundaries, the universe of J+Mikoto deliberately combines Nordic design elements with Japanese aesthetics, creating something reminiscent and familiar, yet unique and conspicuous in the contemporary realm.
